The rubber membrane of tube is constructed with small slits and attached by 2 pieces of edge bands to a support pipe. The air pressure opens the tiny slits and blows out into the water forming the minute bubbles. When the air is stopped the slits are closed, and the membrane is pressed against the support pipe by water pressure. The space between the membrane and supporting pipe disappers, resulting in a double seal that prevents the waste water and solids from back flowing into the membrance. This feature allows the diffuser to be run intermittently without backflow. As the load fluctuates, you can freely change the air flow volume that accordingly produce the minute bubbles, giving a highly efficient transfer of oxygen. This makes maintenance and control tube type diffuser very easy.
With the disc type diffuser POWER ACE you not only get super minute bubbles, but you also get a highly durable, high power diffuser, which has no equal.
The membrane and the reinforcement are molded together like umbrella ribs, making it exceptionally strong at resisting the tension of the bubbling face. The membrane holder and attaching parts are designed to engage and lock with each other, to prevent the membrane from accidentally coming off in the water. Our disc has a triple sealing design that prevents entry of the water and for off/on operations.
